The Importance of Play
On this beautiful October day, we played outside. Several students decided to create a Dinosaur Zoo. They sorted all sorts of dinosaurs into areas of the Zoo which matched their colors. Very clever!

Our week was filled with lots of /Gg/ fun! This week's story was a classic, Three Billy Goats Gruff. Throughout the week we read several versions of this story. We discussed similarities and differences between the retellings. Students completed a story map using pictures, pair shared the story with a partner, practiced retelling the story to themselves using paper puppets, retold the story to a classmate, and shared their version of the story with their Book Buddies on Friday. Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos! The children truly dove deep into this literary tale.
