The Last Lecture is the textual form of a speech delivered by Randy Pausch to students at Carnegie Mellon University; it would be his last lecture as he was dying from pancreatic cancer.
This single book has been assigned to the seniors of PRHS to engage, inspire, and motivate them to internalize some of the wonderful insights and life lessons offered within. This may also provide you with some ideas for your college application essay.
You WILL be assessed on the reading of this text in the form of an objective exam and a graded Socratic seminar in the early fall.
