Learn how to navigate your Learning Management System (LMS) &/or
Course Management System (CMS)
Learning Management Systems and Course Management Systems are online learning platforms used to provide digital content.
BrightSpace is a LMS software system that allows users to easily manage course work, assignments, and evaluations. A LMS encompasses the entire organization of the learning. (Cite: Coble, R. (2016). Learning and Course Management Systems (LMS/CMS). Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching).
Google Classroom, Seesaw, and PowerSchool are considered a CMS, as they provide a set of tools to aid and expand the learning process but do not encompass the entire organization of the learning.
