Choose one of the options below, either performing with a group, live, or by recording your group singing live on video (one take).

Step 1: Form a small group of singers (maximum 2 on a part).

Any mix of voices (S-A-T-B) can work. You can also perform 1 on a part.
Step 2: Choose a round, canon, or a catch. You can use the resources linked below, or use a round/canon from a book, or find your own selection.

To complete this part of the assignment, you will submit a video recording (video preferred) of your group singing a three or four part round or canon.
*If you are completing this at home, you can use family members or friends who are not currently BCHS choir students to complete this assignment!

-Hand written using Manuscript Paper. If you don't have manuscript at home, you can print some off the internet. Search 'printable manuscript paper' or go to: https://www.blanksheetmusic.net/
-Online composition tool: MuseScore is free music composition software. Below there is a link to a YouTube video that demonstrates step by step how to set up and compose a round using MuseScore. Link to the website: https://musescore.org/en
-Use 'NoteFlight' online composition tool. This tool is available through MusicFirst. See Google Classroom for details on accessing your free MusicFirst subscription.
