Through the science program, students will develop the science related knowledge, skills, and attitudes that they need to solve problems and make decisions, and at the same time help them become lifelong learners— maintaining their sense of wonder about the world around them.

Entering high school, students will enroll into one of the Science programs: Science 10, Science 10 AP, or Science 14.

Students enrolling in Science 10 AP or Science 10 may also enroll into Biology 20 AP or Biology 20 for second semester. (80%+ is required for the AP programming). AP programming is also offered in Chemistry and Physics, but students are not to enroll for these programs until their grade 11 year.

The Science 14/24 stream provides the knowledge and skills required for students to develop literacy in science with regards to everyday processes. These courses are not recognized by post-secondary institutions for Science related careers but are accepted for most trades-related careers. This stream is also an excellent option for students who need to build capacity to potentially enroll in Science 10 later.
