Career Exploration

The Westlake Career Education Program offers students many opportunities to explore careers in a variety of ways such as online exploration, guest speakers, business tours, and career-related field trip events. Events and activities are announced through Naviance and the College and Career Center website.

All Westlake High School students are provided a free NAVIANCE account. Naviance allows students to explore careers, complete career surveys, explore colleges, research college majors, and assist with the college application process. Each year the counseling staff will conduct a workshop related to the topics listed. Through the Naviance account, students receive important messages regarding field trips, guest speakers, and internships.
