Want to Share Your Career Knowledge?

Involved employers have a tremendous impact on young people in helping them determine their path in life. The benefits they receive from engaging with industry professionals is significant in learning what is required of various careers and how to prepare to enter specific industries. This engagement can be achieved through participation in the Work-based Learning program. Volunteers are needed to provide students with valuable experiences and opportunities to gain a realistic perspective on careers they are interested in pursuing.

Work-based learning is: a continuum of opportunities offered either inside or outside the workplace. These experiences align classroom and workplace learning and allow students to develop and apply academic, technical and employability skills in a work setting. These opportunities can be a one time experience or last over a period of time. Below is a continuum of opportunities that a volunteer can provide.

If you are interested in volunteering for one or more of these opportunities, please complete the volunteer form. Volunteers will be contacted to discuss next steps.
