• 7th to 8th Grade Registration: Students register for 8th grade classes for fall of 2026 and will fill out Elective Forms due March 13, 2026. Presented in English classes.

March 12th

• AVID Presentation by Newbury Park Highschool for qualifying 8th graders only

March 18th 

• Newbury Park High School "Future 9th Grade Presentation": Students learn about courses and opportunities in High School.

  March 25th and 26th  

• 8th to 9th Grade Registration with NPHS Counselors. Presented through Physcial Education classes

March 24th- April 3rd

• 7th grade counseling lesson: "Learning Styles". Students identify learning preferences and strategies for success at school.

March 30th - April 2nd 

• Rising 7th grade course information. Students will learn about the different levels of classes and choose their elective(s). Elective form due by April 17th. 

April 6th- April 10th

• Spring Break!

April 23rd

•  Future 6th Grade Orientation: Elementary Schools, 5th graders visit Sequoia to learn about 6th grade. 9:30-11:30, in the gym.

• Incoming 6th grade parent night 6-7 PM in the auditorium

• 8th grade awards night in the auditorium. By invitation only.
