Description: Come and add new tools to your social/ emotional toolkit. We will be exploring the importance of knowing your students, using visual supports, creating a calming area in your classroom, and the use of picture books and social stories to help teach expected behaviors. We will be focusing on tools that you can implement IMMEDIATELY into your classroom to help reduce and soothe challenging behaviors.
BRING AN EMPTY PLASTIC BOTTLE/ JAR FOR OUR MAKE AND TAKE PROJECT (Voss plastic bottles are ideal but any plastic container will work.)
