Mrs. Monica Muscato
Voice Teacher
Mrs. Muscato brings over 25 years of experience in teaching music to her voice studio. She has taught in both private and public schools in Texas, teaching choir, music theory, contemporary music styles, musical theater, and piano.
After graduating with a Masters of Music degree from UT Austin, she performed around Austin as a jazz vocalist and pop singer. Monica has directed numerous musical theater productions in middle schools, high schools, and community groups. With a strong foundation in vocal pedagogy, she combines classical training with contemporary versatility to meet the unique needs of every student.
In addition to 25 years of directing choral music in middle school and high schools, Monica has extensive experience as a private voice instructor, working with students of all ages and skill levels. With a keen understanding of the beginning singer, she brings compassion and positivity to each lesson to enable each individual student to grow to their full potential She has coached numerous students to the level of State UIL competition, and dozens to becoming an All State singer.
Monica is passionate about helping students develop healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, expressive performance skills, and a solid understanding of music theory. She has performed and coached a wide range of musical genres, including classical, contemporary, pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, R&B, and country music.
She brings her expertise and passion for vocal music education to her students to inspire them to find their own true style and unique voice.
