VRHS Calendar - Vista Ridge follows an A/B block schedule. Students will sign up for 8 classes but will attend periods 1-4 on A day and 5-8 on B day. HERE is an A/B calendar that you can print out.
VRHS Bell Schedule - Vista Ridge classes are 90 minutes long. Lunch will fall during 3rd/7th period. Your lunch depends upon where your class is located in the building. Students will find out their lunch on the first day of school. HERE is a copy of the VRHS bell schedule
Ranger Time - This is a shortened class period in the middle of the day (after 1st/5th periods). During this time, students can portal into approved groups, club meetings, or tutorials with teachers. Students can also use this time to work on homework, read a book, or just take a quiet break during the day. To gain permission to leave the classroom and attend meetings or tutorials, students must portal. HERE is a tutorial on how to do that.
Student ID - New students to Vista Ridge High School will receive a Photo ID after having their picture taken during school picture day
Lockers - Most students at Vista Ridge do not use a locker but instead carry a backpack with them. If you would like to request one, please see the Counseling office.
Student Parking - Parking Permits are available to purchase HERE through VRHS's Assistant Principal's office.
Student Activities - Vista Ridge has over 100 clubs and organizations. We encourage all students to find their HOME at Vista Ridge. Please see each of these pages to see what exciting opportunities we have for you!
