Dena Gifford

Greetings! My name is Dena Gifford, and I am very excited to serve as Assistant Principal at the amazing Vista Ridge High School!  

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology and from the University of Houston in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Science Education as part of the iSMART program. In 2019, I earned my principal certification through Lamar University.  I had the honor of teaching science to incredible students in the Houston and Austin area for the first 25 years of my career, and I have been an Assistant Principal at the AMAZING Vista Ridge High School the last 2 years.  I am absolutely thrilled to serve the incredible Ranger Family, and I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
