Welcome to the Vista Ridge FFA!
It is with great pleasure and pride that we welcome you, parents and students to the Vista Ridge Agriculture Science Department and FFA Chapter. This year will be filled with new and exciting opportunities for everyone involved!
Beginning now, as a student in an agricultural science class, students will be eligible to become a member of the Vista Ridge FFA. By becoming a member, the opportunities for personal, career and academic growth and success are limitless. Each year, students from all over the nation compete in Leadership Development Events, Career Development Events, Conventions, Meetings and Camps. These students have the opportunity to apply for millions of dollars in scholarships to pursue post secondary degrees at colleges, universities and trade schools across the nation.
Students involved in the FFA will also have the opportunity to exhibit livestock, Agri-Science Fair projects, and compete in Speaking Development Events. We challenge each and every student to become a member of the Vista Ridge FFA Chapter.
If you have any question regarding agriculture classes, participation in Leadership Development or Career Development Teams or Animal Projects please feel free to contact us at Allison.marcuse@leanderisd.org, Leah.king@leanderisd.org, Haleigh.carlile@leanderisd.org, and Gary.adams@leanderisd.org
Sincerely, Vista Ridge FFA Advisors
