1. Pay the barn fee for each animal coming into the barn via the VRHS web store linked here:  https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/prdembd?ref=ZZJE0AQLWM0RU2D_ZZ63WGBUEYKRMHJ 

2. Parents: Sign up as an approved Volunteer with LISD if you have not this year.

• All parents and visitors must be approved volunteers with LISD before moving any new animals into the barn.

• To sign up, please visit this webpage and scroll down to view the steps to become an LISD Volunteer: https://www.leanderisd.org/volunteeringguidelines/ 

• Parents will receive an email after completing the application, and you have been approved. Please forward this email to allison.marcuse@leanderisd.org to be filed for the year.

3. Complete the Barn Agreement entirely. Sign the barn contract and return the signature page to the Barn Manager. 

   1. Please email haleigh.carlile@leanderisd.org with the completed barn contract and let her know when you would like to move into the barn. Ms. Carlile will also assign you a pen and locker. You will also need to let Ms. Carlile know your breeder's current vaccine protocol.

Animals will not be allowed on the VRHS Barn property until the above steps have been completed and the Ag Science Teachers have been notified before the arrival of animal project(s). Pen assignments will be selected by the Ag Science Teachers and will only be given after the above items have been completed. 

*Barn Visitor Policy*

All visitors outside of your immediate family must have prior approval from the Species Ag Teacher each time they will be at the barn. As mentioned above, any family member that is not a current LISD-student, must be an LISD Approved Volunteer and have sent their approval email to Allison.Marcuse@leanderisd.org to be filed.  Continuous misuse of the visitor policy will result in demerits as outlined in the deremit policy of the Barn Contract.
