With nearly a decade of experience as a Vista Ridge FFA Advisor and over 10 years in FFA mentorship, Mrs. Marcuse brings exceptional expertise and dedication to the program. A Texas A&M University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and a certification from the Benz School of Floral Design, she teaches Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Practicum in Floral Design with passion and precision. Mrs. Marcuse's favorite part of FFA is training competitive teams and helping students discover their unique talents within agriculture. Her commitment to student success and love for the floral industry make her an inspiring mentor for all FFA members.
With an impressive 44 years of experience in FFA advising, Mr. Adams brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to the Vista Ridge program, now in his 8th year with our school. A Southwest Texas University graduate with both a Bachelor's and Master's in Agricultural Education, he holds extensive certifications in General Ag Mechanics, Tractor Power, Coop, VEH, CVAE, and Horticulture, Nursery and Landscape & Floral Design. Mr. Adams teaches Introduction to Ag Mechanics, Agriculture Fabrication and Design, and Practicum, where he challenges students to develop technical skills and professional competencies. His passion for training competitive teams and guiding students through financial record-keeping via the AET Recordbook reflects his lifelong commitment to developing well-rounded agricultural leaders.
Ms. Carlile is in her third year as an FFA Advisor at Vista Ridge High School. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, she is passionate about helping students develop practical agricultural skills and knowledge. Ms. Carlile teaches Principles of Agriculture, Livestock Production, and Introduction to Ag Mechanics, where she encourages students to explore their interests in the agricultural industry. Her dedication to student success, passion for building competitive teams, and commitment to helping students earn scholarships make her an excellent mentor for FFA members.
Mr. Marcuse joins Vista Ridge High School, bringing more than a decade of experience in agricultural education and FFA leadership. With a proven track record of building successful programs and developing student leaders, he teaches courses across the Animal Science and Ag Mechanics pathways while fostering inclusive, high-achieving learning environments.
