Redo Criteria

If a student scores a 70% or below on a test and would like to improve his/her grade, they will have one opportunity to redo/retake the assessment. Students will receive the highest grade earned on the test which cannot exceed a grade of an 70%. A student must make a request to the teacher to redo/retake an assessment. Students will have 5 school days to redo/retake an assessment once they are notified of the original grade. The grade will then be reflected in SIS with a note identifying it as a redo/retake.

Redo/Reteach Procedure

Once students receive the graded assessment, it will be sent home for you and your child to review. Students need to fill out a redo ticket and look at their first assessment to reflect on the errors that were made. Prior to being assessed again, the skill missed will need to be retaught. Students must staple the redo ticket to the front of the first original assessment. A redo must be completed within 5 school days of the student being notified of the grade.
