All performances are held in the Leander High School Black Box, located at the back of the school. Please park in the back lot and enter the building through the back glass doors; the Black Box is immediately to your right.
In order to minimize performance disruption and to respect our students' work, please arrive on time: no one will be admitted after the show has begun.

Synopsis: This fast-paced farce begins when four couples arrive at a townhouse in New York for a dinner party—only to find that the host has shot himself (just a flesh wound), his wife is missing, and the servants have vanished. In an effort to protect reputations and avoid scandal, the guests fabricate increasingly ridiculous cover stories. As more couples arrive, the chaos escalates into a whirlwind of slamming doors, mistaken identities, and outrageous lies. Simon’s sharp wit and breakneck pacing make Rumors a hilarious evening of misunderstandings and mayhem.
Meet The Company
MIA BRADSHAW, Assistant Stage Manager, is a sophomore and active member of NAHS, LHS Choir, and is on the Sapphires dance team. This is Mia's production debut. Welcome to LHS Theatre, Mia!

EMMA DEZELLE, Cassie Cooper, is a senior and competitive dancer. Additionally, she takes both tap and singing lessons outside of school. Her previous credits include Much Ado About Nothing and Last Round-Up of the Guacamole Queens. She would like to give a shout-out to Duncan and Hoover, as well as Mary for everything she puts into each and every show.

ANNABELLA CARRION, Officer Pudney, is a freshman and making her LHS Theatre debut. Welcome to the stage!
LILY ENGLISH, Props, is a freshman and making her LHS Theatre debut. Lily is a member of HOSA and the dance program. Previous theatre credits include Beauty and the Beast, Small Actors, and Into The Woods. She would like to give a shou-out to fellow props person, Harper Ray, for all her help and being so supportive.

MASON GROGAN, Male Understudy, is a sophomore and member of Thespian Society. His previous credits include work on 9 to 5. He would like to give a special shout-out to Tristan for having his lines memorized before anyone else.

GRACIE GUNDY, Female Understudy, is a sophomore and member of Thespian Society and Lionheart Choir, and serves on the Choir Council. Her previous theatre credits include work on 9 to 5, Suite Surrender, and A Comedy of Errors. She would like to give a special shout-out to her older sister who, even though she's away at college, continues to be supportive.

EVANGELINE HARDIE, Lenny Ganz, is a sophomore and member of Thespian Society. Her previous stage credits include work on 9 to 5, Suite Surrender, and Medea.

ETHAN LINDER, Lighting, is a sophomore and member of Thespian Society and the LHS Improv Troupe. Previous credits include work on Pirates the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, and Rise!. He would like to give a special shout-out to Ms. Strain, his sister, Bella, and the folks in LHS Theare.

KIERRA MCASHAN, Costumes, is a junior and member of Thespian Society and the Girlhood Club. Her previous stage credits include work on 9 to 5, Medea, and Matilda. She would like to give a special shout-out to her amazing family, her best friend, and everyone in the Rumors company.

TRISTAN MILLER, Ken Gorman, is a senior and member of NHS. He is also a camera operator for LHS Football. His previous theatre credits include work on Cinderella and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He would like to give a special shout-out to his mom, dad, Cayla, and Rikki for their support. Additionally, Ms. Emily for encouraging him to do theatre.

PAIGE NEWMAN, Chris Gorman, is a member of Thespian Society, Lionheart Choir, Book Club, and studies with the ZACH Conservatory. Her previous credits include Into The Woods, 9 to 5, and Suite Surrender. She would like to give a shout-out to her family for supporting her and helping her memorize her lines.

ALLISON NICHOLS, Costumes, is a freshman and memebr of FCCLA and Thespian Society. She is making her LHS Theatre debut. She would like to give a shout-out to Duncan for letting her be part of this show.

HARPER RAY, Props, is a freshman and member of Thespian Society. Her previous theatre credits include You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Re Living Memory. She would like to give a special shout-out to her mom, her best friend, Aleimy, and all of her friends who have been with her from the start.

BRAYDEN RODRIGUEZ, Glenn Cooper, is a freshman and is making his LHS Theatre debut. His previous credits include Clue, Meet the Karliners, and The Wizard of Oz. He would like to give a special shout-out to his mom for always being there for him.

MARY SHAMMAS, Production Stage Manager, is a junior and serves as Thespian Secretary. Her previous credits include Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Suite Surrender. She would like to give a special shout-out to the whole Rumors company for being so amazing. She says she couldn't have asked for a better start to the school year.

SOPHIA STRAUS, Claire Ganz, is a senior and member of Thespian Society. Her previous theatre credits include work on 9 to 5, Rise!, and Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens. She would like to give a special shout-out to her sister for being her biggest supporter and always encouraging her to follow her heart.

ISIAH WATSON, Ernie Cusack, is a freshman and member of Thespian Society. He is making his LHS Theatre debut, and previous credits include work on One Act Plays and spring shows. He would like to give a special shout-out to Maya Vaughn and both understudies for working really hard.

CORY WYATT, Sound, is a junior and member of JROTC and has worked in our PAC as an intern. His previous credits include The Little Mermaid, Guys & Dolls, and Seussical. He would like to give a special shout-out to Mariana Jacks for showing him the ropes of sound design.

CAMPBELL DUNCAN, Director, has been in high school for about a million years, but doesn't plan on graduating anytime soon. He would like to give a shout-out to the amazing students who worked on this show, especially Mary, Cory, Gracie, and Mason, who are the unsung heroes of this production. He would also like to say 'thank you' to his lovely wife, Katie, who is the best audience plant he could ever hope for.
