My name is Rachel Lee (formerly Hunt) and I am so happy to be a part of the counseling team here at The Ranch!  I graduated with my bachelor's in elementary education from Concordia University and fell in love with Leander ISD while student teaching in the district. I have been a part of the LISD for eight  years, teaching Kindergarten at Grandview Hills and then CC Mason. 

My time in Kindergarten allowed me to discover my passion for helping students build strong social emotional skills. This led me to earn my master's degree in school counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler.  I recently went back to school again and am working towards earning my private counseling license. 

When I am not working with some of the most amazing learners on the planet, I love to hang out with my cats (Lemon, Ginsburg, and Milo), garden and kayak with my  husband (Jeromy),  and travel everywhere. My life goal is to make it to all seven continents! (I've got six out of seven so far!)

My goal as a counselor  is to help  EVERY Rutledge learner feel safe, loved, and resilient. I will be the point of contact for grades Kindergarten-2nd, but will work with and get to know all students through classroom guidance lessons and other school wide counseling programs. I look forward to working together to support our Rutledge Ranchers!
