Second Step Curriculum is delivered weekly by your child's homeroom teacher. Please see information below to opt your child in or opt out of the weekly lessons.
Social Skills Learning is recognized as a key ingredient for school and life success. To meet these specific needs, Leander ISD adopted the Second Step curriculum. The lessons are taught at in all elementary classrooms in grades K-5 as well as Early Learning Classrooms.
The developmentally appropriate lessons are divided into four units.
