Humanities: Rules, Laws and Patriotism

Science: Continue our Environments Unit. We will be learning about environments by studying the Gopher Turtle. This week we are studying how plants and animals can change the environment.

Leader In Me: This week, we learned what it means to have a growth mindset. Growth mindset is believing we can grow with dedication and hard work. 

Notes from teachers: 

• Please send in headphones with an audio jack if you have not done so already. Here is a great option for what we need.

• Please bring a labeled water bottle for classroom & recess hydration, containing WATER ONLY.

• Bring a healthy, easy snack for the day (student able to open/close independently).

• If you have not sent in all of your school supplies, please send them in ASAP. Here is the supply list

• We encourage shoes that your child can safely and independently tie or secure themselves. 

• The expectation is that you'll update your student's Student Dismissal Manager (SDM) by 1:00pm daily. Your student will be sent home by whatever means is in the system.

• Our lunch is later this year so please be sure your kiddo is eating breakfast.
