Technology Help will be your go to for any technology snags you might run into.
Our home base for Virtual Empowered Learning will be Google Classroom.
Through Google classroom, students will find and complete assignments and join our Google Meet video chats. Students may be a part of multiple Google Classrooms for different teachers or subjects.
First of all, you will need to set up your child's Google profile on their device.
Open up the Google browser.
Click on the picture in the upper right hand corner of and in the drop down menu you will need to click on "Add another account" .
You will need to set up your child's school profile on your device.
Use the following to set the account up:
Google Username: first.last##@k12.leanderisd.org (## are last 2 digits of ID)
Google Password: YYYYMMDD (student birthdate)
Google Classroom Code: ask your teacher (not able to post publicly)
If your child has already set up a Google Classroom at school, they just need to find Google Classroom in the Launchpad, or it can be found in the "waffle" on the upper right hand side of the Google browser home page.
LISD LaunchPad is a one-stop shop for students to access their different apps like Google Classroom, DreamBox, Amira, or Amplify. By logging in through LaunchPad, students should be able to bypass any additional login information.
LaunchPad Username: lastname_###### (first 8 letters of last name only & 6 digit student ID)
LaunchPad Password: Students unique password (If they don't remember it, contact me and I can share with you)

SORA is our virtual library and can be accessed through LaunchPad.
