Students have had a wonderful week of learning! Students have been writing, practicing a constructed response with evidence, learning about natural forces, writing a book series in G1, and learning about art.
We are very excited for the eclipse on Monday and are hoping the weather will cooperate!

Spring Break is here!
Our students have been working hard and here is some of our incredible work going into the last day of this term. Students are making connections, writing, incorporating math, designing inventions, and exploring representing ideas.
Increasing learning through transdisciplinary learning across subjects, we are writing in science, integrating math, and creating representations of our learning.

What targets and learning goals are students setting?
Part of what make the IB PYP Programme so special is that students learn how to set learning goals for themselves, learn how to manage and organize themselves, having agency, choice, voice, and develop their Thinking Skills, Research Skills, Social Skills, Self-Management Skills, and Communication Skills so that they are prepared for their future. These skills will help your child be successful in whatever they want to do in their life and career.

We truly appreciate the support for your children and our grade 5 teachers as they have been working on this exciting journey and culminating experience in the Primary Years Programme.
Exhibition is a journey that helps students reflect on their time in the PYP programme and helps them reflect upon their strengths and skills. The culmination of their time at Mason is a celebration of their learning and is a special time as they prepare to move to the next stage of their schooling journey in Middle Years.
