Server drives are assigned to you based on your role in the district.
Access server drives by clicking on the File Explorer folder in the task pane of your PC and selecting This PC in the left task pane.
If you have a Modern device you will find a shortcut to the Company Portal on the desktop. Open it search for Connect To. Click on Staff and press install. A shortcut will appear on your desktop to the various drives.
U:\Drive- Everyone has a personal drive called the U:\ drive. You are the only person who can access files on the U:\ drive. We are currently transitioning away from the U:\ drive and instead asking staff to install Google Drive for Desktop to store personal files.
G:\Drive - Each campus and department has a G:\ drive. The G:\ drive is where you should keep most of your working files so that others in your department have access. There are generally multiple folders in the G:\ drive. All members of the campus/department will have access to all of the files in the Team Share folder in the G:\ drive. However, in other folders, it depends on your role. For example; if you are a principal on a campus; you will be able to see all of the folders and files in the Office folder on the G:\ drive. However, if you are a receptionist, registrar, etc. you will only be able to see the folders and files that relate to your position.
L:\Drive - The L:\ drive is a District drive. Every staff member in the district can access the files and folders in the Team Share folder on the L:\ drive. Please do not put any confidential information in this area. This was designed to be a temporary drive and files and folders will be purged after 30 days.
Depending on your role, you may find other folders in the L:\ drive at the same level as the Team Share folder. For example, there is a folder for Registrars throughout the district. You will only see that folder if you are a registrar and that folder is not considered temporary.
