If you are a senior OR a dual credit student testing for the 1st time and unable to test at ACC:
1. Complete the Pre-Assessment Activity.
Create an account HERE
Proceed to complete the Texas Success Initiative 2.0 Pre-Assessment Activity (TSIA2-PAA) to familiarize yourself with the test
(Note: Identify "Leander ISD" as your institution.)
When you finish, download your completion certificate and submit it via this TSI PAA Completion Form. This is required only once!
2. Register. Click here to select a specific date & time. Please note that although test registrations are listed as a 1.5-hour reservation, the TSI Assessment is untimed, and your test may extend past the scheduled time frame. Most students spend an average of 1.5-3 hours per test section - plan accordingly.
3. Prepare/Practice. You can use the account you created above to log in and access the practice materials via the Texas Success Initiative Assessments 2.0 (TSIA 2) menu option.
ACC offers the TSI Assessment, and currently, the TSI Assessment is free at ACC if you have an ACC ID number (completed enrollment steps 1-2). Most centers are open Monday-Friday, and select locations have Saturday hours.
Decide upon your test location and time (Cypress Creek and Highland are the closest ACC campuses to VHS). It is walk-in only. You do not need an appointment, but give yourself at least 2 hours before closing to complete the test section.
Complete the TSI Pre-Assessment Activity (Instructions) if testing for the 1st time (only needs to be done once)
Review practice resources
Gather your photo ID (license, passport, VHS ID) and your proof of completion of the pre-assessment activity (if 1st time to take the TSI) or previous scores (if retesting)
Go to the test center for the test. Good luck!
If taken during the school day, request documentation from the testing center & provide it to the LHS Attendance Office, as your absence for testing will be coded as excused
Submit your test results here so we can get the results entered into your LISD record
