Sign Outs 

Student Pick up: Students can be picked up by a parent or guardian until 3:20 pm. When arriving to pick up your student, please allow your student a twenty minute window to navigate our large campus after our office has been able to notify the current teacher.   Parents can provide a hand written note prior to the date. 

Parent release notes: If your student is leaving early on their own with out a parent present on campus there are steps you need to take.  We require  a hand written note that includes the students name, student number, and the time they will be leaving by the child's parent or legal guardian.  Your student must turn this note into the attendance office before the end of 1st/5t period. 

• Early release notes do not count as excuse notes. Students will still need to provide a note the following to confirm the student did make their appointment and the details of the event so we can get it coded appropriately. 

• LHS does not allow phone calls for taking students out of class. 

• If  there is an emergency or a last minuet appointment please contact your students Assistant Principle via phone call or email. 

18 sign out: If your student is 18 years old they are able to sign themselves out IF the parent signs a permission slip to do so. The permission slip is located int the front office with the attendance clerks and has to be signed on campus. Once the permission slip is filled out students must come to the front office and check out with the attendance team before leaving the school grounds.
