School Counselors meet with each class once a month and are available for additional lesson requests, as needed. Lesson topics address the academic, career and personal/social development of students.
Individual Counseling helps students overcome issues impeding achievement or success. Students are assisted in identifying problems, causes, alternatives, and possible consequences for improved decision-making. Individual Counseling is planned, goal-focused and short-term.
Counseling is available to small groups of students who may need additional support. Small group topics may include: coping with grief/loss, social skills, study skills, behavior support, managing feelings, and new student support.
