I am beyond ecstatic to begin my second year of teaching here at Glenn. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in the UTeach Theatre program. From that program, I had an opportunity to student teach here at Glenn, and loved it so much that I wanted to return as an official faculty member. 

My experience ranges from teaching summer camps at ZACH Theatre, directing young people, and even some acting experiences here and there. 

I wanted to teach theatre because of the impact my teachers had on me in my schooling. There, I found a community and a space where I was encouraged to be myself, something I had never had before. In my classroom, I strive to create this same community of care and support. I hope my students can find a safe space in my classroom where they are able to be themselves and take risks. 

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my cat, Chip, browsing all of the streaming services, and kayaking on Lady Bird Lake. 

I hope we can all have an amazing school year full of laughs and growth! Go Grizzlies!
