Our Booster Club
A Beginning
The Glenn Theatre started as a part of the larger Glenn High School Fine Arts Booster Club, which included Band, Dance, Theatre and Choir under one umbrella booster program. During the spring of 2019, it was decided that the different disciplines would split into their own unique organizations. With the dedication of our directors Mrs Melody Morton, Mrs. Taylor Perry and few dedicated parents of the Theatre Program the dream of having a booster program of our own has come to fruition as of the 2019-2020 school year as we were officially known and recognized as The Glenn High School Theatre Booster Club.
Our Purpose
As Stated on page one of the Glenn High School Theatre Booster Club By-laws. "This organization is organized and operated for the charitable and educational purposes as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. The purpose of the organization include raising funds and purchasing of personal property and services to be used by the students and Faculty of the Glenn High School Theatre Program, providing volunteers for educational and extracurricular activities, engaging in other charitable, civic or educational activities that will contribute to the public education of the community; and exercising other powers conferred by the laws of Texas on non-profit corporations."
Our Mission
The Glenn High School Theatre Booster Club is a non-profit 501(C)(3) entity, not affiliated with Glenn High School or The Leander Independent School District. We are dedicated to helping and supporting the Glenn High School Theatre program, our students, our directors, our school and our community to be the best that it can be through service and dedication.
We strive to Positively promote The Glenn High School Theatre program to all student related programs and activities through positive interactions with students, GHS administration, teachers and staff.
