TannÍa Benefield

• I co-teach English II and Study Lab II.

• I'm a US AF brat and I have lived all over the US and Panama. I am a USAF veteran and I lived in NC, MS, CO, and WA. I have been teaching in Texas for 10 yrs.

• I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration-Management from North Carolina A & T State University (HBCU). Then went on to receive my Master's degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

• In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places in Austin, TX  with my family and cooking & baking. 

• I spend too much time on Instagram and researching various topics on the internet.

• I am a life long learner so educating myself and being active in my community is important to me.

Donovan Wiggins

• I teach English II and advanced English II.

• I grew up primarily in the North Austin area. I've also lived in New York, Colorado, and other parts of Texas.

• I received my Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in psychology from Texas Tech University.

• This is my 8th year in education, and my third at Glenn HS.

• In my free time, I enjoy being in nature: hiking, floating, camping, exploring. I also spend a lot of time with my family.

• I love books, films, music and going to concerts when I'm able to!

• Some of my favorite literary classics are: Invisible Man, The Alchemist, The Giver.

Meredith Lange 

• I teach English II and I am the English Student Success Facilitator. 

• I grew up North of Houston and have also lived in North Texas. 

• I received my Bachelor's of Education from the University of North Texas. 

• This is my 11th year teaching secondary English, and my first year at Glenn!

• In my free time, I like to read, sing, practice yoga, spend time with friends, and see movies, shows, and plays. 

• Some of my favorite YA series are Harry Potter, Hunger Games and Divergent.
