Off Campus PE

All about PE in middle school.....

Texas Law requires that middle school students must participate in a minimum of two years of physical activity. This activity may be physical education class, athletics, cheer, dance, drill team, or color guard. In LISD, students will be required to participate in a physical activity class in the 6th-7th grade.

Off Campus Physical Education (OCPE)

In accordance with local district policy, a school district may award up to four high school credits and/or three middle school credits for physical education for appropriate private or commercially-sponsored physical activity programs conducted on or off campus. In LISD, students in grades 6-12 may apply for Off Campus PE.
