ARCIL provides services to any person with any disability. Our mission is to promote independent living through Independent Living Skills training, housing search, employment services, and information & referral. Staff provides assistance with SSI/SSDI, and working while on disability management. ARCIL provides durable medical equipment services (i.e. grad bars, vehicle lifts, and ramps). ARCIL also provides relocation services. Relocation Services assist consumers in nursing homes relocate from nursing homes to their community.
The Blind Children's Program works with children who are visually impaired or blind along with their families in developing Independent Living and work skills. This program offers In Home Training, Educational Support and Resources. Our goal is to help children become as independent as possible.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas is a health plan option for STAR Kids, STAR and CHIP Medicaid. We educate families on coverage and the added value services we offer. We can help people find community resources to assist with non-medical drivers of health and help those who need help and applying for Medicaid.
BridgingApps is a program of Easter Seals Greater Houston that provides resources, education, and information on apps and mobile devices to help caregivers and people with disabilities like autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome target and improve skills and reach their highest levels of physical, social, and cognitive development.
CapMetro provides free Travel Training to people with disabilities and seniors who want to learn how to travel independently in the community using public transportation. Our skilled Travel Trainers provide customized travel instructions to help riders learn how to safely and independently navigate routes using bus, rail, and pickup services. Rider’s who are interested must complete an initial interview and functional assessment to make sure they are a good fit for training and can keep themselves safe in the community. Instruction is route specific, tailored to individual needs, and will vary in length. The goal of Travel Training is to help you gain the confidence you need to travel safely and independently. The Special Programs Advisory Council (SPPAC) supports families of students with disabilities by collaborating to improve student outcomes, provide resources, and foster community connections. SPPAC members share feedback and help shape initiatives, making a meaningful impact on the LISD Special Programs community.
Partners Resource Network (PRN) is a federally funded nonprofit serving as Texas Parent Training and Information (PTI) Center. PRN empowers parents of children with disabilities and youth with disabilities to understand their rights, navigate special education services, and advocate effectively through free training, resources, and regional support across Texas.
Round Rock Police Department-Take Me Home
Take Me Home - a local database for citizens to register family members who may wander off or get lost and may not be able to communicate vital information to law enforcement officers or first responders. This kind of assistance may be required if the person is unable to speak or properly identify themselves, or if the individual becomes disoriented or acts in a manner that could be misinterpreted by first responders. Note that this program is specific to the population of Round Rock, Texas. We are the Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC), parents/guardians who volunteer some of our time to serve as a resource to fellow parents/guardians whose children are receiving special education and/or 504 services through Round Rock ISD (RRISD). We work in partnership with Round Rock Public Schools administration on matters relating to the education and safety of all students. We work to encourage understanding, respect, acceptance and inclusion of all students in an effort to improve the lives and educational outcomes of students with special needs and their families.
My Mission is Simple - As a parent of a Special Needs child. I help Special Needs Families from drowning in fear, guilt and isolation by creating a system for them to become the best ADVOCATE for their student, who can thrive both academically and socially without the constant battles, confusion and burnout.
The Texas Talking Book Program (TBP) provides free digital audio, large print, and braille books and magazines to Texans of all ages who cannot read standard print due to qualifying visual, physical, or reading disabilities. The collection consists of more than 160,000 titles, including titles in Spanish and other languages.

The Texas ABLE Program: the state’s savings program for Texans with disabilities.
The Texas Achieving A Better Life Experience (Texas ABLE®) helps Texans with disabilities and their families can save for disability - related expenses in a tax-advantaged ABLE account without losing eligibility for certain public benefits, such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid. Texas ABLE is based on federal and state legislation and is maintained by the state through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. Funds in an ABLE account can be used to pay for qualified disability expenses that relate to the beneficiary’s blindness or disability and are used to maintain or improve his or her health, independence or quality of life.

Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) is a non-profit law firm that provides free legal services to low-income Texans, including in Austin and surrounding areas. There are more than 36 practice areas in which TRLA attorneys specialize.
The Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training (TSLAT) provides high quality autism training and support at no cost for educators and families of children with autism across Texas. TSLAT operates as a statewide network of autism specialists out of the 20 regional service centers (ESCs) and works in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency. We are not a school. Our training is provided online or in-person at the 20 ESCs. TSLAT is housed at and led by ESC Region 13 in Austin.
The Texas Technology Access Program is the statewide assistive technology program. Our services include a short term device loan program, demonstration centers across the state, a durable medical equipment recycle program, discussing funding for purchasing assistive technology, and 3D printed assistive technology.

Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation helps Texans with disabilities find and maintain employment. They offer services like counseling, training, job placement assistance, and assistive technology to empower individuals to achieve their career goals and independence.
The Arc of the Capital Area is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering Central Texans with intellectual and development disabilities and their families by offering a variety of programs and services such as our Art & Education Day Program, Adult Case Management, CLASS Case Management, Employment Services, Guardianship Programs, Family & Juvenile Transition Services, and more.
Travis County's Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG) supports youth and the families of children with complex needs requiring services and supports from multiple agencies and organizations. We are a community meeting that brings together public and private organizations to streamline and improve access to services and supports in the Travis County community.
Each year Travis County Summer Youth Employment Program hires 750 youth ages 14-17 and if it is a youth with a disability, up to age 22. We offer youth a five-week job opportunity while encouraging them toward a path of higher education or assisting them in determining their career path while providing them with dedicated adult guidance. We provide job placement during the summer and job development year-round to youth in Travis County.
