Leaving CRMS attendance school zone but staying in LISD?
Follow the steps below to update your address
The CRMS registrar will connect you with the registrar at your new LISD campus and will transfer student records
Your student will keep the laptop device, lunch account and LISD student ID. It all follows to the new school
If your student is moving during the school year they will need to clean out PE/dance/cheer lockers, and turn in any outstanding items (library books, choir uniform, etc.) or pay campus fines

Follow the steps below to update your address and ask the registrar to provide you with the "Request to Remain" form
Fill out and return the form with the non-refundable processing fee
Allow 48 hours for the campus to review your request and inform you if your request can be granted
Requests will be granted based on space at the campus and good standing of the student
Moving out of LISD, but want to stay at CRMS?

Withdrawing from LISD?
Contact the registrar for the LISD withdrawal paperwork
Turn in any outstanding items (choir uniform, library books, lunch account, laptop device, ect) on or before your student's last day at CRMS
If you have an mLISD device it will need to be returned within 5 days of student's last day on campus. LISD will report devices lost or stolen after 5 days to law enforcement
Log into the Home Access Center to print your students report card or testing records before your students last day on campus
Request a refund for any funds left in your student's meal account here. Please note refund checks may take up to two weeks (from the time we receive your request) to receive in the mail
Students leaving the district will lose access to their k12.leanderisd.org account the day after they exit the district. Please download any files you want to keep to a personal device
Have the new school contact the CRMS registrar to transfer academic records to your new school
Email the registrar (jenni.carroll@leanderisd.org) with your new address and move date
Indicate in your email whether the change applies to all family members
Please allow 2 days for address updates to be processed
Updating your address will require you to submit a new Proof of Residency to the registrar. Accepted Proof of residency Documents:
Mortgage statement dated within 45 days.
Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale.
If the estimated date of closing is not included in your Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale, a letter from the builder containing your name, the address of where the home is being built, and expected date of closing will be required. The expected closing date must be within 60 days of the student starting school.
Please note: A Purchase Agreement/New Home Contract of Sale is considered to be a temporary proof of residency. You will be required to provide a current utility bill to the campus where your student is attending within 30 days of closing.
Current Rental/Lease Agreement.
Legal affidavit regarding sublease.
Current utility bill in the parent’s/guardian’s name, which includes a service address and must be dated within the last 45 days (P.O. Box is not acceptable). One of the following:
Electricity/Gas
Water
Cable/Internet
Trash/Garbage
***If the parent/guardian and student reside in the same dwelling with someone else and have no proof to substantiate that living arrangement, a Statement of Residency form must be notarized and submitted by the parent as well as the person whose name appears on the proof of residence. The person with whom the parent/guardian and student are living with must provide a valid form of Proof of Residency as stated above.
