PLEASE NOTE THAT BOTH 7th & 8th GRADE GIRLS TEAMS WILL PLAY AT THE SAME LOCATION EACH WEEK.
7th Grade: 7:00am - 8:45am
8th Grade: 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Tryout Requirements:
All Athletes must have the following completed BEFORE tryouts begin:
Current physical on file with Coach Edwards
All Rank One Online Forms have been filled out
Fill out the signup form
Print and sign the Basketball Commitment Letter
All Athletes will be evaluated on the following skills
Free throws (evaluated on both proper shooting form and accuracy)
X-layups
One vs. One (emphasis is on blocking out)
One Minute Shooting Drills
One minute block shots
One minute elbow shots
One minute shots from first hash marks
Full Court Layups (both left and right side)
Control dribbling drill (Zig Zag)
Hot Shot shooting drill
