Many parents want to know where our curriculum comes from. All LISD 6th Grade Science teachers follow the same curriculum, and this curriculum is guided by the state of Texas.
The state creates the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), which guides the curriculum for all subjects at every school in the state.
