In Leander, we use the Second Step Curriculum for Social Emotional Learning (SEL) instruction. This is a fabulous curriculum that covers many topics related to the social emotional health of our children.
Since we are now in a state of distance learning, I wanted to send out recorded video lessons (that also include lesson guides for families) and the 'Home Links' from Second Step for you to check out.
There are many lessons relating to topics such as: managing anxiety, cooperating respectfully, empathy, positive self-talk, regulating emotions, etc. Please click your child's grade-level link to access the videos and home link documents.
