Coach Bowman is in his 35th year as an Athletic Trainer, his 27th here at CPHS (yes, he helped Noah when he sprained his ankle on the Ark). Before opening Cedar Park High School, he was in Kingsville ISD for 5 years, and an assistant trainer at Texas A&I University (currently Texas A&M Kingsville), where he is a graduate from.
Coach Bowman's twins, Charles and William, were 2017 graduates of CPHS before going on to play golf at York College in Nebraska where they graduated from. His daughter, Kabrina, is a junior at Oklahoma State and his wife Linda, is a one of the athletic trainers at another LISD high school.
Coach Austin is in her 13th year as an Athletic Trainer, her 10th here at CPHS. Before coming to Cedar Park she was the head athletic trainer at Burnet High School for 3 years. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, were she was a student athletic trainer for the football, softball, volleyball, track and cross country teams.
