An adjective is a word that describes someone or something. Look at the poster to the left for some examples of adjectives and watch the YouTube link below to hear some more examples of adjectives.
Today's writing activity is for you to write a paragraph about your family. Your challenge is to include as many adjectives as you can with some examples of why you choose those adjectives.
My Example:
I have a very loving but crazy family. Chris is my hardworking husband. He's very adventurous and loves to go on new hiking trails. My three wild kids can be very loud and rambunctious when they are all playing together. Talkative Kaylee always has something funny to say. Caring Camryn is always lending a helping hand to others. Cuddly Kirby is always up for an extra long snuggle session. My family is fantastic.
Let's work together to make each other smile today!
Watch my how-to video and then get to work.

Write a short fiction story about a bear. Give your story a beginning, a middle, and an end. The bear can talk, roller blade, and do many other things that bears in real life cannot do. It’s fiction!
Write or Draw!
Get a blank piece of paper. Write your whole story out in sentences. Then add a picture or two!
Or draw the whole story. Make three big boxes on your piece of paper. Label the boxes Beginning, Middle, and End. Draw what happens in each part of the story inside the boxes.
Tell us about your week with a good strong paragraph. Use an opening sentence, 3 details, and a closing sentence.
Challenge: use transition words like: first, next, after that, finally
