Science Unit: Plants and Animals

Week 2: Science Nearpod

Investigation #2 has us begin by revisiting our adopted plants from last week to record some observation. Then we will explore what animals need to survive, as well as go on a scavenger hunt to explore animals in our own backyards. All information and assignments for the week are in the nearpod below, work at your own pace.

Week 1: Science Nearpod

Investigation #1 begins with us exploring plants! We will be learning about what plants need to grow, adopting a plant and observing growth, as well as going on a nature walk to determine how many different kinds of plants are growing in our neighborhoods.

All of the lessons for this week are included in the nearpod below. Work at your own pace through the 14 slides. We'd love for you to complete this week's investigation by Friday, May 8th.
