Students can apply for FREE through one of two ways: the Baylor Online Application and the Common App.
Revamped Admission Process
We have moved away from traditional admission decision plans and now use a simplified process based on application deadlines.
We highly encourage you to apply by November 1, as this deadline gives you the greatest access to scholarship opportunities, such as being automatically considered for merit-based awards and invitation to specialty scholarship events if eligible.
If you are unable to apply by the November 1 deadline, we do offer a February 1 option. Students applying by this later date will still be automatically considered for merit-based scholarships, though they will not be eligible for invitation to specialty scholarship events.
Admission File Deadline
February 1 Non-Binding:
Student will receive an admissions decision by April 10
Student must deposit by May 1
While they will not be considered for invitation to specialty scholarship events, student will automatically be considered for merit-based awards, and they may still qualify for numerous additional scholarships in Baylor's Scholarship Universe, a portal provided to accepted Baylor students to find unique scholarship opportunities.
Sic 'Em!
Your students can earn anywhere from $10,000 - $25,000 a year * (renewable for up to four years at Baylor) by simply applying to Baylor!
No separate application is required.
While we're working hard to review every application file, we'll receive over 50,000 this season! Each application deserves our careful and thorough review. Thank you for your patience.
We kindly ask that you encourage your students and their parents by letting them know Baylor's notification deadline is December 15 for those who applied for the November 1 Binding (Early Decision) application plan and February 1 for those who applied for the November 1 Non-Binding (Early Action) admission plan.
Students who apply by our February 1 Non-Binding (Regular Admission) deadline will receive a decision no later than April 10.

Mississippi State automatically awards certain scholarships upon MSU admission based on 9th-11th grade high school GPA and optional test scores. Find award amounts for out-of-state residents in this chart (Click MSU Logo for the chart). We will accept SAT/ACT scores through the February test date of a student's senior year of high school.
Regarding recent changes to the ACT and superscoring, MSU will use the 3-part superscore (English, Reading, and Math) for admission purposes. For scholarship purposes, we will calculate a 3-part superscore and a 4-part superscore (including Science) and award scholarship amounts based on the higher superscore. These guidelines are in place for students entering in 2026. For students entering in 2027, we will only use a 3-part superscore for scholarship purposes.
Do your students ask about having out-of-state tuition waived to attend MSU? Even though we do not waive out-of-state tuition apart from our Veteran, Service-Member, Dependent and Spouse Non-Resident Tuition Waiver, our freshman academic scholarships can make the cost very comparable to our in-state students' cost, depending on GPA range.
Competitive Scholarships:
Opportunities for additional scholarships, such as departmental or private scholarships, are available based on submission of the General Scholarship Application, which opens October 1, 2025, for admitted students. For maximum consideration of these additional scholarships, students should submit the General Scholarship Application by December 1, 2025.
Next Steps:
We encourage you to apply to Mississippi State if you haven't already! You can apply at apply.msstate.edu or through the Common App. Once we have a complete application file, we can usually send an admissions decision within about two weeks. Submit Transcripts electronically via email to admit@msstate.edu.
Priority application date — December 1, 2025: You should apply for admission and submit their FAFSA by December 1, 2025, for maximum consideration for Missouri State scholarships, as well as state and federal programs. Students who are admitted with a completed FAFSA submitted by December 1 will receive their scholarship and financial aid offer before winter break.
Final application date — February 1, 2026: Students who apply for admission and submit their FAFSA by February 1 will be reviewed for scholarships and all state and federal programs and receive their financial package by March 1, 2026.
Students who apply after February 1, 2026 will be reviewed for admission, scholarships, and aid programs as funds and space allow. Students will be notified of admission, aid and awards on a rolling basis.
Scholarships
As our commitment to access and opportunity has always driven our strategy of supporting all students in attaining a college degree, our focus remains on awarding our scholarships and other institutional aid to provide the greatest amount of support to the greatest number of students. To achieve this, we are doing more holistic reviews for individualized admission and scholarship awards decisions for incoming students.
The award process for the Presidential Scholarship and the Hutchens/SGA Centennial Leaders Scholarship remains the same for this year.
Non-resident opportunities
Out-of-state students can qualify for a waiver of the out-of-state portion of tuition by meeting any one of the following:
3.25 GPA or higher
Class rank in the top 50%
ACT composite or superscore of 24 or higher
SAT composite or superscore of 1160 or higher
The best way to know Mo State is to visit. Out-of-state students who visit campus by December 1 of senior year and subsequently enroll will be awarded a one-time $1,000 “Show-Me Missouri State Scholarship.” Students simply need to schedule a personalized visit or attend our Fall Showcase on October 25.
Two Ways To Apply
