I Love Math Day at R.S. Payne began as an event for third through fifth graders, but we have expanded into the primary grades over the past two years. Below is our growing list of activity ideas for PreK through second grades.

Count a collection of dominoes, then build with them

Cut Play-Doh pieces into fractions and label with dry erase markers on desks

Invite guests to read a math picture book

In addition to these, many of the activities we have used for grades 3-5 could also be adapted for younger students.
