I was born and raised in Lancaster, SC and graduated from Buford High School. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks).
I have been a nurse for 10+ years. I began school nursing October 2021 at Indian Land High School. Previously, I have worked on a Medical/Surgical floor, Levine Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology, Levine Cancer Institute Medical Oncology and Jesse Helms Nursing Center (a skilled nursing/acute rehabilitation center).
I have been married for 10 years and have two of the most handsome young men (maybe I'm a little bias), Drew, age 8, and Dax, age 6.
I am so excited to continue my career as a school nurse at Indian Land High School! I am looking very forward to helping your student(s) have a happy and healthy year here. Go Warriors.
Rebecca Krause, BSN, RN
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, I attended Appalachian State University and graduated with my Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2009. I quickly realized that I belonged in the field of nursing and went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State University.
The majority of my nursing career has been spent working in organ transplant/oncology/hematology. I am passionate about health and wellness, and I am excited for my second year at Indian Land High School.
I am a proud Mama of two wild little boys (Lincoln, age 8 and Maximus, age 5). I am also a certified Yoga Teacher. In my free time you can find me playing outdoors with my kids, exercising, doing yoga and working in my garden.
