English IV

Welcome to English IV! This course will be an intensive study of both the seminal works in British literature as well as the themes and ideas that they seek to teach us to apply to our greater worldview. You will be introduced to various authors, genres, and works while refining the critical thinking skills necessary to reach informed conclusions and opinions on any number of topics.

You will be expected to read from the textbook as well as all supplemental readings assigned throughout the semester. The end goals of this course is to prepare you to pass the final comprehensive exam and to make you a more critical thinker of the world that you are beginning to gain an active voice in.
