Ivy began her investigation in the gym. She and her library staff assistants inspected every nook and cranny. After sniffing around, the only thing she found is what appears to be sesame chicken takeout containers in one of the trash cans. Could someone have hidden Oreo here? It’s hard to tell -- the gym area might be too stinky to sniff out Oreo! More clues are needed, so keep reading to unlock more clues! (hint: look at the home page of this Google Site to review the information we already know about the suspects and hiding locations to help you decipher the clues)
Next Ivy and her assistant library detectives checked out the House C office. After sniffing around the House C office, which smelled much better than the gym, Ivy found some empty pizza boxes in the trash can and Mrs. Tran found some Taco Bell leftovers in the refrigerator. Ivy also smelled that Oreo had been in the House C office, but she couldn’t tell how recently. Ms. Haft found some ripped pieces of a sign a teacher had been working on for their classroom, but some of the pieces were missing. Ivy needs more clues, so keep reading!
What’s this? There was a goat running through the halls of Farmwell on the day Oreo disappeared! Ivy smelled the goat all over the school. Was this meant to be a distraction? Did someone let a goat run free in the school to hide the fact that they were stealing Oreo? Which of our suspects might have access to a goat? Ivy and her library detective assistants also found more missing signs and posters from around the school. Are the missing signs and posters related to Oreo’s disappearance? Keep reading to unlock more clues!
Ivy found the scent of Oreo outside one of the Tech Ed classrooms, but the door was locked with a digital number keypad. In order to investigate inside the Tech Ed classroom to look for clues, we need to figure out the keypad code to get into the room. Mr. Shirley wanted the code to be easy to remember, so he set his 4-digit code to his favorite food. He used the first letter of each word and translated those letters into numbers (ex. A=1, B=2, etc.). Click the button below to try the keypad. Make sure you click the "View accuracy" button to see if you entered the right lock code AND read the "Feedback" section to get more information from the clue. (hint: you may need to look at the home page of this Google Site to learn Mr. Shirley's favorite food)
Next, Ivy and her library detective assistants investigated the cafeteria. Mrs. Hood asked Officer Ace to check the security cameras in the cafeteria on the day that Oreo disappeared while Ivy, Ms. Haft and Mrs. Tran looked around the cafeteria. Mrs. Tran found popcorn kernels on the floor. Ivy did not find any evidence of Oreo having been in the cafeteria. After reviewing the cafeteria’s security camera footage from the day of Oreo’s disappearance, Mrs. Hood discovered that, except for first thing in the morning when she stopped into the front office, Mrs. Kendrick had been in the cafeteria the rest of that day hosting a viewing party for her classes so they could premiere their book trailer videos. The cameras also spied Mrs. Weaver in the back, stealing some of the popcorn. Ivy thinks she has ruled out at least one suspect, but we need more clues, so keep reading!
Ivy went with Mrs. Hood to visit Mrs. Loftus’s classroom because Ivy tracked Oreo’s scent to right outside Mrs. Loftus’s door. Mrs. Loftus’s “What I’m Reading” sign had fallen off her door and was on the floor, but it was ripped in two and was missing some pieces. Ivy and Mrs. Hood opened the classroom door just in time to hear Mrs. Loftus telling her students about Caesar Ciphers. She gave her class a secret message that they needed to decipher. The only clue she gave them was that SFXF was where she worked before Farmwell.
This was the secret message she gave to her class to decipher. Does it contain any clues?

If you know where Mrs. Loftus worked and use the clue she gave her class, you can figure out how many letters to the right she shifted her code.
hint 2: The secret message may be related to clue #3)
Ivy found a trail of homemade bunny treats leading from the main office to House A. Were these bunny treats left around to lure Oreo into House A? At the end of the trail we found a box of the bunny treats with what appears to be a note, but part of the note has been ripped up. Ms. Haft thinks all the pieces are there. The letters that were ripped off include:
S R F A M D R E O M
Does the ripped part of the note give us a clue? Rearrange the letters. What does it say?
As Ivy walked back to House C, she stopped outside of Mrs. Gwizdala’s office to investigate. She wasn’t in her office, but the door was open. Ivy sniffed around and didn’t find any evidence of Oreo being there, but she left her calendar open on her computer. According to her calendar, Mrs. Gwizdala was down the hall in Mrs. Stine’s art room participating in a painting lesson. Ivy walked down the hallway to Mrs. Stine’s room where she was giving a lesson on pop art. All of her students, plus Mrs. Gwizdala, were painting Andy Warhol-style pop art paintings. Mrs. Gwizdala’s painting was of an Oreo cookie with a no symbol around it. Could her painting be a clue?
The PTA reported that the sign on one of their boxes of PTA SPIRIT WEAR is missing. Ivy found Oreo’s scent as well as what appeared to be pieces of the PTA’s sign including the following letters: 2-Ps, 2-Is, 1-S and part of the Farmwell Falcons logo in the library, but where are the rest of the letters? And what happened to the other missing signs? Where is Oreo now?
