Selection Process & Criteria for Admissions:
Pathway is designed to support students from traditionally underserved populations. Program admission is not based solely upon prior academic achievement, and no minimum GPA is required to apply. Applications are carefully reviewed by Pathway staff at NOVA. Strong consideration is given to:
Barriers to college access or success
Recent high school grades
Senior year attendance
Motivation and capacity to transfer and earn a bachelor’s degree
Pathway applicants may also be asked to complete an individual or small-group interview with a Pathway Counselor at their high school.
