What do I need to bring to Summer Band each day?

• Instrument and any accessories (Check with the band director at the school you will attend in the fall to make sure you have the appropriate supplies/accessories)

• Summer Band Music Book (provided to students after completing registration and payment)

• Water

• Snack for breaks (Optional)

• A Great Attitude!

Instrument Rentals

Students new to band will need to rent an instrument.  

Some larger instruments like Baritone and Tuba may be rented from you home school's music program.  Please contact the band director at your school to reserve one of the larger instruments.  

The quality of a beginner instrument is extremely important in the success of your student in band. Please consult your school's policy on brands of instruments that are acceptable. We highly recommend renting from a reputable source & getting a warranty. If purchasing an instrument, PLEASE consult your band director first. There are many things that look like instruments, but are not acceptable quality. Students will struggle and not succeed if not the proper equipment. Below are some local music stores to rent from:
