Lightridge Summer Band

Welcome to the 2025 Lightridge Summer Band!

Open to all rising 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade band students, the Lightridge Summer Band is a two week long event hosted at Lightridge High School in Aldie, VA. The Summer Band meets weekdays from 9AM-12PM.

The goal of the summer band is to develop community & musicianship. This begins with great instruction for young band students. Students will learn & recognize the basics of tone production, technique & musicianship. Band also reinforces working together as a team & how to rely on each other. In addition to your individual school music program, the summer band will help advance your students musical growth & passion for music!

Our Staff

Our staff includes certified professional music educators working with your children. We also have a group of high school and college-aged counselors to help support the activities & special events of our camp.
