Avalon Theatre company presents several shows each year including a play in the fall, student one-acts in the winter, and a musical in the spring. ATC also fields competition teams for VHSL and VTA competition.
Color Guard is the sport of the arts, combining dance, equipment work, and performance to create artistic shows for various audiences. In the fall, the Outdoor Color Guard performs as the visual aspect of the Marching Knights. In the winter, the Indoor Color Guard competes in the AIA and WGI circuits with a highly-choreographed show set to recorded music.
The John Champe Dance Team creates and promotes school support and interest in athletics, develops high team standards, and provides quality family entertainment.The team mainly focuses on jazz, lyrical, and pom. Performances include pep rallies, halftimes at football and basketball games, service events, and local competitions. The program includes dancers who all have had former dance experience on some level at school or studio squads. Each member prioritizes their education first and contributes discipline, dedication, and responsibility to the team.

The John Champe Marching Knights Band combines precision drill and movement with artistic musical performance. Students from all bands participate in the fall marching program, comprised of students from the Concert Bands and Percussion Ensembles.
The John Champe Marching Knights perform their field shows during halftime at home football games as they prepare for the various marching band competitions. These competitions take the Marching Knights to various locations within Loudoun county, the region and states outside the Commonwealth.
