Sensors are subjectively placed across the campus and are installed on posts approximately 1 meter high facing north. Posts are within soils surrounded by different surfaces (e.g., asphalt, cement, playing field, grass, etc.). See map for more details of exact location. For updates on sensor and data status, see bottom of page.
Sensor Status Log Sheet: This google sheet will provide information regarding the status of particular sensors including when data were downloaded or issues that might result in data loss For example, if a sensor battery goes dead or a sensor is destroyed the data may have gaps (which will be indicated in the status log). For sensors that are lost/destroyed, the sensor name will include a alphabetic identifier indicating a new sensor has been placed.
