Heat Press Safety Guide

Use of the heat press requires training, permission and supervision.

Please read these instructions and safety precautions and receive check-off before using the heat press.

• Wear safety glasses. Tie hair back. Wear closed toe shoes. No loose clothing, hoodies or ear buds while operating press.
• Place heat press on a flat stable surface with entire heat press above table.
• Never leave the machine unsupervised when switched ’ON’.
• Never reach into the heat press with your hands when it is connected to the power supply, particularly when it is switched ‘ON’ and heated up – DANGER OF SEVERE BURNS!
• Ensure machine settings match recommended material settings.
• No liquids or metal objects inside of the heat press.
• Turn the press ‘OFF’ when not in use.
• Unplug when done.
• Allow press to cool before putting away. (30 min)
• Keep others away from press while hot including during pre-heating, operation and cooling.
