Ms. Spaid serves as the Director of Elementary Education for Louisa County Public Schools and is charged with overseeing the school division's Title I program.
Mrs. Corker is in her 29th year of teaching. She is currently a Math Resource Teacher at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. Mrs. Corker has a Bachelor's Degree from Grove City College. She also received her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Mrs. Corker hails from Pittsburgh, PA, and has lived in Virginia for 30 years.
Mrs. Schneider has taught kindergarten, first grade, and Title 1 Reading in her nearly four decades of service at LCPS. Mrs. Schneider earned her Bachelor's Degree from Clarion University in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Schneider lives in the area with her husband and has two grown children who are graduates of Louisa County.
Mrs. Moore has been teaching for 13 years, with nine years in the middle as a stay-at-home mom. She earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Old Dominion University and her Reading Specialist degree from Longwood University. Mrs. Moore has experience teaching kindergarten and first grade, and she also worked as the K-5 reading interventionist at TJES. She currently lives at Lake Anna with her husband and three sons.
Mrs. Cleaver is in her 17th year of education. This is her first year in the Title I Math position. Last year she was the K-5 Math Interventionist. She previously taught both first and third grade. Mrs. Cleaver earned her B.S. at James Madison University and is currently in a M.Ed. program at George Mason University for Mathematics Education Leadership: Math Specialist. Raised in Crozet, Virginia, Mrs. Cleaver enjoys hiking, photography, sports and spending time with her husband, three kids and dog.
Mrs. Proffitt is entering her fourth year of teaching at Louisa. Originally from Palmyra, Virginia, she continues to reside in Fluvanna County. She obtained her B.S. from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed her post-baccalaureate teacher licensure at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Literacy Education from Radford University. Beyond academics, Mrs. Proffitt finds joy in reading, learning, staying active, fishing, and cherishing moments with her husband Earl, her children Caroline and River, as well as her dogs Padme, Kalisi, and Guinevere.
Ms. Goodman was raised in Glen Allen, VA. After graduating high school, she went on to study at Mary Baldwin University and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Ms. Goodman continued her education and received a Master's in the Art of Teaching from Mary Baldwin University in 2017. Ms. Goodman is currently enrolled at James Madison University to receive an additional Master's in Education with an emphasis on Literacy Instruction. Ms. Goodman has experience teaching fourth grade, first grade, and second grade. She is entering her eighth year in education as the Math Interventionist at Jouett Elementary. In her spare time, she loves spending time with herfamily and friends, reading, and being outside with her dogs.
Mrs. Agee is a proud graduate of Louisa County High and lives in the area with her husband, two children and a very energetic Jack Russell Terrier! Mrs. Agee received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and obtained her Virginia state teaching license through Mary Baldwin College. In addition, Mrs. Agee is a National Board Certified Teacher. Mrs. Agee is in her fourteenth year teaching in Louisa County.
Mrs. Peasley is in her 22nd year of teaching, and her 14th year at Trevilians Elementary School. In 2013, she accomplished her goal of becoming a National Board Certified Teacher, and is currently working on her Math Specialist degree. Born and raised near Pittsburgh, Mrs. Peasley and her husband now reside in Louisa with their two daughters.
